On the 23rd of February, we attended SIS / VOPS Awarding Ceremony 2023 organized by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector. Earlier in 2022 we applied for grants for two projects which will be new for us: Setting Up for Success and Comino Educational Campaign. Open call and opportunity for teachers and educators
FoEM’s Food, Agriculture & Biodiversity team has been busy getting students moving while reflecting on their own natural environment. As part of a European project “Get Active – Bound Around” three interactive and educational online games were created to focus on different environmental realities both locally and around the world. Open letter to demand the redesign of Mġarr Road
On the 15th of February, Moviment Graffitti, Friends of the Earth Malta, and Rota sent a letter to the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects, Dr Aaron Farrugia, the CEO of Transport Malta, Brigadier Jeffrey Curmi, and the CEO of Infrastructure Malta, Mr Ivan Falzon, demanding that political responsibility is shouldered for the failure of the bicycle lane on Triq Sir Temi Żammit, Mġarr, in keeping cyclists safe.
