Welcome to the Friends of the Earth Malta!

Thank you for your interest! You can register to volunteer by filling in the form on this page.

The Foraging booklets are given out as part of our supporter scheme, which you can register for on this page. You have to choose the tier that suits you best: the Foraging Guide is one of the the perks of the 25 euro tier (along with a tote bag and Membership card). Alternatively, a donation of 5 euros will also grant you the option to get a Foraging booklet.

It would be best to discuss matters like this via email: info@foemalta.org We are always interested to have talks with like-minded people and organisations, so do not hesitate to contact us.

Yes, it is! You can find more information on this page. Kindly note that we cannot provide financial support and that we consider  internships with a minimum of 6 months stay.

At the moment we cannot accept SOK students sadly! Keep an eye out for when we reopen out student opportunities

Yes, at the moment we generally have monthly gardening sessions. You can join this facebook group and check our events page for the latest session. You can also subscribe to our newsletter to keep informed about our activities and events

To borrow a book or visit the library you can become a supporter of Friends of the Earth Malta. For as little as 10 euros a year, you can support our efforts to protect the environment. For more information click here

Each year the autumn hunting season in Malta runs between 1st September and 31st January (both days included). The Spring hunting season is between 10th and 30th April.

Any illegalities during the closed and open seasons should be reported immediately to the police on 119, asking to be transferred through to the Environmental Protection Unit (EPU), previously known as the Administrative Law Enforcement (ALE) unit.

You can then report the offence to BirdLife Malta on 2134 7645/6 or on the emergency (out of office hours) number 7925 5697.
