This project will host urban gardening activities within the climate emergency reality both in terms of practical preparedness in a warming climate and also highlighting the importance of urban gardens in a world in crisis. It will offer participants the tools and expertise on how to grow their own food in urban areas whilst offering a haven for biodiversity to thrive.

It also aims to develop a sense of ownership and belonging for participants, and positively contribute to their well-being. It will also promote the importance and relevance of fresh and healthy local food, and also highlight the importance of pollinators as keystone species.
Each month will have a specific theme related to urban food gardening and climate resilience, using our outdoor space in Floriana.
This event is being supported by the UK in Malta – British High Commission Valletta.
