Friends of the Earth Malta (FoEM) is looking for a motivated and organised HR Volunteer to support the organisation with day-to-day human resources administration. This is a great opportunity for someone studying or interested in HR, administration, or business, and who would like to gain hands-on experience in the NGO sector 💼💚

Position: HR Volunteer
Organisation: Friends of the Earth Malta
Location: Hybrid – Valletta office & remote
Hours: 6–8 hours per week
Start date: Flexible
Type: Voluntary (certificate of experience provided)
💪 Main Duties
As an HR Volunteer, you’ll help the team with:
✨ Assisting with volunteer and staff recruitment and onboarding
📁 Helping with HR filing and documentation
💻 Updating and maintaining HR databases
🤝 Supporting volunteer coordination
🗓️ Assisting with training sessions and HR meetings
🧭 Contributing to the development of HR policies and procedures
🌿 Promoting a positive team culture and wellbeing
🔒 Ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance

✅ Strong communication and organisational skills
🤗 Able to work independently and as part of a team
💬 Interest in HR, people management, or NGO work
🗣️ Good command of English (Maltese is a plus!)
🔥 Responsible, proactive, and motivated
🖥️ Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email)
