The holiday season may be the most wonderful time of the year, but it’s also one of the most wasteful and expensive. We organised this event to share ideas and creativity and shows that is possible to create presents, Christmas tree, ornaments and useful home product. It’s cheaper, it’s easy to do, it’s good for the environment and it can be a good opportunity to spend time with the people that matter the most!

To promote Zero Waste Holidays, we organized different workshops at the Friends of the Earth Malta office, which included:
– Amazing Wallet with juice and milk cartons
– Pallet wood Christmas tree
– Decorations and ornamental items
– Body sponge
– Lip balm
– Beeswax food wrap
– Body and face scrub
– Vinegar & Citrus Cleaner

Since the clothes swap was a success, we decided to start hosting these on a regular basis. More info will come soon …
