Li has been strongly connected to environmental activism and NGO from her University time. She has experience as a volunteer in student environmental movement, program coordinator on plastics in NGO and co-chair of FoE Russia. Li studied Earth sciences and has graduated with an MSc in Environmental management and sustainable development. Recently Li joined the FoE Malta team as a Climate campaign volunteer under the European Solidarity Corps program for a year.
