Originally from Turkey, Berra completed a Bachelor’s study in Sociology. They have volunteered with several NGOs, working on issues related to children’s rights, animal welfare freedom, and more and have nearly 2 years of experience with work focusing on youth and support groups!
Their number one passion is cooking and they enjoy mixing ingredients and creating new things, with their biggest dream being opening an ethical and sustainable community kitchen to bring people together.
Berra joined the Friends of the Earth Malta (FoE Malta) team as a volunteer specialising in Events and Outreach under the European Solidarity Corps Programme.
The ESC programme is co-funded by the European Union. The youth programme is supported by Agenzija Zghazagh through the INVEST Operational Grant 2023-2025.
