BeeAware – Beekeeping Course

FreeThis introductory course is designed to give a general understanding on the role of bees as a vital part of the environment and what you need to know if you are thinking about keeping bees such as the apiary setup, equipment required etc. The ten session course will will take place at the Centre for Environmental Education and Research CEER – University of Malta in Fawwara (limits of Siggiewi), whilst some theoretical sessions will be taking place in Valletta. The course starts on Tuesday 07th March with workshops taking place on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
BeeAware is a project which intends to give people the opportunity to get involved in beekeeping and to train qualified volunteers to volunteer with Friends of the Earth Malta.
