Community Garden Session

Join us for the second Community Gardening of 2025 at Friends of the Earth Malta.

In collaboration with Gegwigija Librerija, this event will equip you with knowledge related to sustainable gardening! We have lots to get done in our veggie patch and wild garden. Join us to gain hands-on experience in crop growing, preparing the soil, pruning, composting/ vermiculture, creating a seed bank, beekeeping, water conservation, planting crops/ tree saplings, and learning more about the world of gardening.

Following the hands-on gardening session, we’ll be hosting a Reading Circle, in which we’ll come together to discuss thought-provoking readings selected from the FOEM’s Green Lending Library!

Gathering together provides a welcoming space to connect, share ideas, and learn from each other through a guided discussion.

There will be water, snacks, and teas/coffees for everyone – you’re encouraged to bring along some food to share after the session.
