Community Garden Session
March 26, 2023 @ 14:00 - 18:00 CEST
FreeThe final session in March will focus on the all important composting, with some practical tips of how to do it at home! We’ll also continue work on the veggie garden, get to some weeding and tend to the wild garden. Join us for a hands-on experience of urban gardening. This session is also part of Pesticide Action Week.
Pesticide Action Week is a 10-day highlight coordinated by the environmental NGO Générations Futures in France and abroad, where everyone can share their knowledge on farming methods that do not use chemical pesticides. of synthesis.
Consuming sustainably is a crucial issue if we want to protect our environment and therefore our health. The dominant agricultural model is predatory, we must change it quickly. To do this, Générations Futures works with politicians to change regulations, but this is not the only channel of action. We must all act together to raise awareness among as many people as possible and change practices.
There will be water, snacks and teas/coffees for everyone – you’re encouraged to bring along some food to share after the session.
This event is being supported by the British High Commission.
Registration is not required, but we encourage you to sign up for the event below.
