Reducing Food Waste by Donating Surplus Food

One of FoEM’s core missions is to reduce food waste and find ways to make food accessible to everyone. For this reason, we’ve partnered up with Food Connect to reduce surplus food into donations!

In January, the LIFE – Food Connect app will go live. Through this app, restaurants, cafés, hotels, and supermarkets will be able to share perfectly good surplus food at the end of the workday instead of throwing it away. By making it simple and efficient to donate excess meals and ingredients, we’re helping businesses cut waste, support their local communities, and contribute to a more sustainable and fair food system.

Every donation helps reduce food waste, lower food-related CO₂ emissions, and provide nutritious food to people who need it most. Together, we can make a real impact, one meal at a time.

Join us in tackling food waste and food inequality by signing up to become a donor!
