Climate Emotions Support Group

Support Group meetings are coming soon!

If you are on this page you’re likely experiencing a range of emotions about climate change. Perhaps you feel worried, angry, sad, or even overwhelmed. First and foremost, we want you to know that you’re not alone. Many young people around the world are experiencing similar feelings, and it’s completely normal to have this range of emotions.

That is why we want to create a space for young individuals who care deeply about our planet and are looking for ways to navigate the complex emotions that come with that awareness. The Support Group aims to develop self-help techniques to improve both individual and social coping skills. Our goal is to equip you with methods, practices, thoughts, and ideas to take care of yourself in these climate-chaotic times, while also caring for others and nature.

The Climate Emotions Support Groups will offer peer support by connecting with others who understand your concerns and professional guidance with a young mental health professional who will facilitate discussions and provide coping strategies.

Starting at the end of this year, we’ll host regular meetings. If you are interested, register your interest below and let us know what you would like to see at these sessions.

This activity is part of the CALM-EY project. You can learn more about the project HERE.

The activity is co-funded by the European Union.
