Ditch the Waste – Save Comino
Comino (Kemmuna) and its surrounding islets are ecological treasures in the Maltese archipelago. Recognised for their rich biodiversity, they have been awarded Natura 2000 status – Europe’s highest environmental protection. Under the EU’s Habitats and Birds Directives, Comino has been designated both a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and a Special Protection Area (SPA). This status makes Comino not just a beautiful destination, but a protected natural reserve.

Feel4Climate aims to bridge this gap by recognising and addressing the emotional, social, and psychological dimensions of the climate crisis. By integrating environmental psychology with climate activism, the project empowers young people to navigate their climate emotions in constructive ways.
SOS Project – Save our Shores: Stop Wealthy Polluters
Cruise liners, superyachts, and other large ships are causing serious environmental, social and health problems in the Mediterranean Sea. These vessels often burn heavy fuel oil (HFO) and other highly polluting fuels, causing air pollution, contributing to the climate crisis, and affecting the health of local communities. The SOS Project tackles these environmental and social impacts of Malta’s booming maritime industry.
Food Connect
Food Connect is a European initiative aiming to tackle the food waste crisis in Southern EU countries by promoting sustainable practices in food production, distribution, and consumption. The project aims to upscale and enhance a LIFE-funded "Collaboration Network platform," making it more accessible and intelligent, while piloting its replication in Portugal, Malta, and Cyprus.
