Francesca joined Friends of the Earth Malta as Financial Controller in April 2025. She has worked in accounting for over ten years and is passionate about using her skills to make a positive difference. After years in the private sector, she wanted to put her experience to work for a cause that truly matters—protecting our planet and supporting a fairer, more sustainable future. Joining Friends of the Earth Malta gave her the opportunity to contribute her expertise to an organisation that stands for environmental justice, sustainability, and community action.
Outside of work, Francesca loves spending time outdoors—whether hiking along Gozo’s coastal paths, or collecting sea glass on quiet beaches. She finds inspiration in nature’s balance and believes that careful stewardship, both in finance and in the environment, can lead to lasting positive change. At Friends of the Earth Malta, she’s excited to help strengthen the organisation’s financial foundation and support its mission to create a fairer, greener future for everyone.
