Join us on Sunday, 23rd November to celebrate the anniversary of the first documented protest by Żgħażagħ Għall-Ambjent (Youth for the Environment), which marked the beginning of our organisation’s journey back in 1985. This protest was the moment that made Youth for the Environment known across the country, the start of a new environmental movement in Malta. We’ll also have food and drinks in a relaxed setting, where we can share memories, stories, and take part in a variety of activities. This event will also be our Annual Gathering, where we present our work for the past year.

Cottonera Community Assembly
Calling Cottonera residents to voice their concerns! These assemblies aim to bring together local residents, this time round focusing on the Three Cities and the nearby residents, through public meetings where people can share their experiences and concerns about the locality, particularly in relation to the coastline and the sea. We’re organising several such assemblies across the Maltese Islands, and in September we had two assemblies, one for Valletta and Floriana residents, and another for Gozo.
