Join us for a film screening & discussion of Wasted: the Story of Waste produced by celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain. Through the eyes of famous chefs, you will see how they make the most of every kind of food, transforming what most people consider scraps into incredible dishes that create a more secure food system. An informative and entertaining documentary produced by celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain, “Wasted!” takes you around the world, showing the 1.3 billion tons of food that gets thrown out each year and the people fighting hardest to prevent it.

Get ready for a weekend filled with discussions on environmental action and Friends of the Earth Malta’s areas of work! You’ll participate in fun and educational activities, learn about environmental activism, and connect with like-minded individuals passionate about making a difference.

The Climate Emotions Support Groups offer peer support by connecting with others who understand your concerns and professional guidance with a young mental health professional who will facilitate discussions and provide coping strategies. We are hosting regular meetings, from 5:30PM to 7:30PM at Friends of the Earth Malta, Floriana from November till February. If you are interested, register below, we're meeting on most Wednesdays for the next few months!

The Weekly Youth Hub is your space to unwind, connect with others, and delve into topics related to ourselves and the planet – all while having fun, and enjoying music and games. Visit us every Thursday from 17:00 to 20:00, to explore what we’re all about. Our space at Friends of the Earth Malta provides an inclusive environment for you to hang out and bring your environmental activities to life.

Join us for the third autumn Community Gardening at Friends of the Earth Malta! This event will equip you with knowledge related to sustainable gardening! We have lots to get done in our veggie patch and wild garden. Join us to gain hands-on experience in crop growing, preparing the soil, pruning, composting/ vermiculture, creating a seed bank, beekeeping, water conservation, planting crops/ tree saplings, and learning more about the world of gardening.

We’ll join the activity being organised by the Attard local council, to share our resources, answer your waste-related questions & meet you! Beth Fiteni, Zero Waste Campaign Manager, will be hosting an informational stand and a composting and waste separation activity from 1:30 pm – 2:30 PM.
