We need your support at Earth Garden Festival
Dear supporter of Friends of the Earth Malta,
As you may have seen, the Earth Garden Festival is back this year, happening from 3-5 June at Ta' Qali.
As it is their 15 year anniversary, Earth Garden are offering free entrance to the festival! In return, they encourage all attendees upon entrance to voluntary donate to their environmental NGO of choice: Friends of the Earth Malta (find out more here)
We are asking for your support to volunteer with us at the festival. We are looking for volunteers to support the Friends of the Earth Malta and Earth Garden teams to inform festival goers about sustainability at the festival and ensure that people recycle and compost correctly. The festival is plastic free and uses reusable cups to minimise waste, and ensures that all other items are recycled and composted. Volunteers will be briefed by the Sustainability Manager of the Earth Garden festival.
Friends of the Earth Malta is planning to use the donations collected at the festival to kick-start our crowd-funding campaign to restore the Old Bakery site at Comino, which we have been given guardianship of, to restore it sustainably and create an environmental interpretation centre on the island.

We are looking for volunteers to support during the following shifts at the festival: - Friday 3 June: 17:00-22:00
- Saturday 4 June: 16:00-22:00
- Sunday 5 June: 16:00-22:00
In return for your support, you will receive a Friends of the Earth Malta tote bag and our beautiful Foraging Guidebook.
