Mawra Lejn Kemmuna

Ingħaqad ma’ Friends of the Earth Malta għal passiġġata filgħaxija f’Kemmuna – inżuru l-Bajja ta’ Santa Marija, Il-Forn ta’ Kemmuna u Bejn il-Kmiemen.

Flimkien se nosservaw iktar fid-dettal l-ekosistemi tal-kosta u nżommu għajnejna miftuħa għad-dakkara u l-pjanti indiġeni li tant joffru benefiċċji!

Fil-mixja nieqfu sal-Forn ta’ Kemmuna – il-qalba tal-ħolma tagħna fejn qed naħdmu bla heda biex nirrestawraw il-post u l-madwar sabiex jiġi miftuħ għall-pubbliku.

Minn hemm naqbdu t-triq lejn inżul ix-xemx u nieqfu waqfa biex nitħaddtu flimkien ma’ Wave of Change dwar l-impatt negattiv tat-tniġġis tad-dawl.

Kif jidlam ninġabru Bejn il-Kmiemen u naqbdu d-dgħajsa lura lejn Għawdex.

Din l-attività hija b’xejn iżda l-postijiet huma limitati u hija miftuħa biss għal min jirreġistra fil-ħin permezz tal-formola hawn taħt.

Għalkemm il-mixja mhix diffiċli xorta waħda nħeġġu li tilbsu żarbun adattat u ġġibu biżżejjed ilma magħkom.

Join Friends of the Earth Malta for an evening walk on Comino – we will be visiting Santa Marija Bay, the Old Bakery (Il-Forn ta’ Kemmuna) and Blue Lagoon.

Together we will observe in detail the coastal ecosystems and keep our eyes open to pollinators and native plants that offer us so many benefits!

On the way we stop at Il-Forn ta’ Kemmuna (the Old Bakery) – the heart of our dream where we work tirelessly to restore the place and its surroundings for future public use.

From there we take the road to sunset and have a brief stop to talk together with Wave of Change about the negative impact of light pollution.

As it starts to get dark, we gather at Blue Lagoon to catch the boat back to Gozo.

This activity is free of charge, but places are limited – registration can only be done by using the form below.

Although the walk is not difficult, we still encourage you to wear suitable shoes and bring enough water with you.
Note: Each participant is responsible for his/her safety as well as for that of any accompanying children. (Suggested age for accompanying children is 12+)
