Flavours without Borders

Join us for Flavours without Borders, a free sunset potluck dinner set in our organic garden, surrounded by edible plants and herbs. This community gathering invites participants to share plant-based dishes, recipes, and food traditions from different cultures in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space.
Don’t forget to bring your own plant based traditional food to share!

The evening will explore sustainability, food, and cultural exchange through a variety of interactive activities, including:
Ethnobotany Workshop
Led by Giulia Dalmonte Feliz, this workshop will explore the cultural, personal, and ecological meanings of plants, herbs, spices, and food traditions. Through storytelling, a guided garden walk, and sensory activities, participants will share food memories and meaningful ingredients while contributing to a collective World Map of Origins connecting plants, people, recipes, and stories.
Food Waste & Sustainable Living
Participants will be introduced to Food Connect, a new food waste reduction app, while discussing practical ways to reduce food waste in everyday life.
Garden & Composting Tour
Guests will also have the opportunity to visit the garden and learn more about composting systems and sustainable food practices.
This event aims to raise awareness about sustainable food systems, inspire positive environmental action, and strengthen community connections through intercultural exchange and shared experiences around food.
Whether you come to share a recipe, learn something new, or simply enjoy a summer evening in the garden, Flavours without Borders offers a unique opportunity to connect with others through food, culture, and sustainability.
