The Maltese islands are a hot spot for a Mediterranean vacation 😎⛵

The tourism industry brings opportunities and economic benefits in the archipelago, but the pressure on society and the environment is increasingly noticeable. In 2024 alone, Malta recorded a record 3.56 million tourists – 19.5% more than the year before 📈

This rapid growth has to spark a deeper conversation about sustainability and responsible travel. Young Friends of the Earth Malta gathered a few simple tips on how to enjoy the islands while treating them with care 🌍

  • Do you know the real impact of your hotel? Some facilities might have a higher eco-footprint than others. Read the article here
