Friends of the Earth Malta participated in a tool fair as part of Eurodesk’s 35th Anniversary Celebration, held on Friday 5th December. Young Friends of the Earth Malta volunteers Ms. Claire Bonello and Ms. Veronica Poon attended our stand, showcasing various youth-related tools that FoEM has created. Some tools showcased included the Climate Anxiety Self-Help book, created as part of the CALM-EY project, which aims to enhance youths’ coping skills and resilience in relation to climate change and environmental degradation through theoretical information paired with reflective exercises and soft suggestions.
This self-help book is available online.
Other resources made as part of the CALM-EY project, including the Climate Anxiety Handbook, being a comprehensive collection of essential information, resources, and strategies for youth workers to understand and identify climate anxiety in young individuals, were displayed.
The activity is co-funded by the European Union.
The Youth Programme of Friends of the Earth Malta is supported by Aġenzija Żgħażagħ through the INVEST Operational Grant 2023-2025
