This February, we’re launching a plant-based themed month, and we’re inviting restaurants across Malta to collaborate with us.
We’ve partnered with Eat for Impact, a global initiative that brings together cities, local organisations, restaurants, businesses and citizens to make sustainable, planet-friendly dining a reality.
As part of our campaign, we’re calling on restaurants to join us by creating two new, creative, climate-friendly specials for the month.
✅ What we ask from collaborating restaurants
-
Introduce at least two new dishes, never-before-offered on your menu, available throughout February.
-
Both dishes must be fully plant-based, containing no animal products, to align with Eat for Impact’s sustainability guidelines.
-
Make these specials visible and easily accessible: they should be on the menu (not hidden), so any customer can order them.
🌿 Why it matters
Eat for Impact emphasises that plant-based food is the “most climate-friendly option.” By participating, restaurants help reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, and at the end of the month, Eat for Impact calculates the total environmental impact saved and shares an impact report with the community.
💡 No cost, no strings
Participation is free. Restaurants sell the specials as part of their regular menu, there’s no fee and no percentage of sales required.
