Open Call for Restaurants & other type of food outlets

Are you a restaurant, café, catering business, bakery, or food outlet looking to reduce food waste while supporting your local community?

The Food Connect Project is inviting restaurants and food businesses across Malta, Cyprus, and Portugal to join its growing network of food donors. The initiative connects surplus food from businesses with individuals and organisations in need, helping reduce food waste and promote social responsibility.

Who Can Apply?

Restaurants, cafés, hotels, catering companies, food shops, agricultural businesses, and organisations operating within the food and hospitality sector are encouraged to register as donors.

How It Works

Businesses upload available surplus food through the platform, while registered receivers can browse and reserve food nearby for collection.
