Friends of the Earth Malta is part of the PRO-COAST, a Horizon Europe scientific research project, to work and preserve the island of Comino. This initiative aims to protect Comino and ensure the voices of all stakeholders are heard.

In 2026, PRO-COAST will be hosting a webinar series, split into 3 sessions, exploring these themes in depth. We encourage the public to join these online events and be part of the conversation on sustainable and inclusive coastal protection:

• The Deep Change Framework: an approach for fostering collaboration and driving measurable transformation in complex social–ecological systems.
