Current volunteering opportunities

International Volunteering
Friends of the Earth Malta welcomes requests from persons visiting Malta who wish to volunteer with us during their stay, however please note that currently we do not have a specific volunteer programme for overseas visitors and as such we are unable to help with arranging or financing: flights, visas, accommodation, food or transport.

Volunteer with an Overseas Office

Would you like to become a Fundraising Volunteer?

This is a versatile position which requires innovative thinking, and a person that is project oriented. As a Fundraising Volunteer, your organizational skills and enthusiasm will help us raise money to continue growing our work and fund our projects.

Time commitment:  This is flexible. We would like a commitment of one year to this, as it may take you time to get going. 

FoE Malta will provide adequate training* to the selected applicant(s) to be able to perform their tasks with confidence. Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Maltese are necessary. Basic computer knowledge will be required. The selected applicant may volunteer from home.

Basic environmental knowledge will help the selected applicant in their position though not necessarily. The selected applicant must be 18 years and over.

* The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector is currently offering free training to volunteers working with NGOs in Malta.
