Terra Madre Day Cooking out of the box - Seasonal & Organic - From eno-gastronomy to eco-gastronomy

This event is a joint initiative of Slow Food Malta & Friends of the Earth Malta

We will be carrying out a vegetarian cooking demonstration carried out by John Portelli who will be using seasonal and organic produce. So, there will be no set menu!

We are asking for a (suggested) donation of €5 per person which includes the demonstration and tasting of the dishes we produce together.


Eating is an agricultural act. Informed, selective consumers become co-producers by demanding food that is good, clean and fair.

Slow Food believes that gastronomy is indissolubly tied to, among other things, politics, agriculture and the environment, and is actively involved in agricultural and ecological issues around the world.
