Anne Marie drinks copious amounts of tea, and is a graduate from the University of Amsterdam in Human Geography, with a specialization in Environmental Governance. Professionally her background is in funding, research, content creating, and education. Volunteering brought her to a number of enriching experience from sustainability projects in Brazil, to fairtrade campaigning in Portugal, and organic farming in Italy. Within the environmental sphere she is particularly interested in water management & sanitation, food waste, and climate action. She makes it a point to recharge with a good swim and snorkelling around the island.
